Religious objections always turn out to be without basis. Therefore, objections to fetal stem cell research must be baseless." That's precisely the article's formal "logic," and its only real argument.

Actually, the arguments against fetal stem cell research (which are not inherently religious in nature at all) are a great deal more substantial than Deborah Blum's "logic." And religious people also oppose wife beating, the molestation of children, and littering, you know.
