Just who's the Dumbo here?

Republican congressional candidate Raj Peter Bhakta (PA-13), on a visit to Texas, observed illegal immigrants swimming with "immunity" (I think he means "impunity") right underneath the International Bridge from Mexico into the United States.

So he decided to see whether he could "smuggle" the symbol of his party- an elephant- together with a six-piece mariachi band across the river at the same place.

He succeeded. No sweat, in fact. He was never challenged.

"If I can get an elephant led by a mariachi band into this country," Bhakta said, " I think Osama bin Laden could get across with all the weapons of mass destruction he could get into this country."

A point worth considering, mayhap?
