The rise of the partisan "fact checkers"

Perhaps the biggest development of this election cycle isn't the increased impact of the Super-PACs. It's the hghly partisan "fact checkers" whose bias prevents them from being the honest brokers they pretend to be.

And they have a strong tendency to inaccurately "correct" charges Republicans make against President Obama.

Four years ago, the President's campaign had its own bogus "truth page" on the web to misrepresent the facts about his positions and records. This time, he has allegedly "neutral" and "unbiased" partisans to do it for him.
