Sin and the Religious Left

Some have been lead by the Administration's reaction to Rev. Louie Giglio's position on homosexuality- a position which reflects the traditional beliefs of not only Christianity, but also Judaism and Islam- to wonder whether the word "sin" has been banished form the lexicon of the Left (including our distinctly non-centrist national administration).

As a graduate of an ELCA seminary who served that benighted denomination for over twelve years, and who had more experience with the bizarre world of the Religious Left than I ever wanted to, I can assure you that it hasn't.

Sin still exists for the Left. It's any thought, word or deed which is contrary to its god, the Agenda. And that explictly includes the  politically incorrect teachings of the Torah, the New Testament, and the Koran.
