ONE GOAL: Sunday afternoon, the one in five

I've predicted all along that it would take the Blackhawks five games to dispose of the Minnesota Wild in their first round Stanley Cup series.

The extra game was Sunday's.

The Hawks thoroughly dominated the game during the last third of the final period and actually into the brief overtime. But in overtime, all it takes is one shot- and in a rare trip into the Chicago zone, Jason Zucker caught Corey Crawford on his knees and lifted the game winner into the net.

Final score: Minnesota 3, Chicago 2. The Hawks lead the series two games to one. I expect it to be three to one after tomorrow night, when the Blackhawks will be out to put an end to this nonsense before putting an end to the Wild at the UC Thursday night.

GO HAWKS!
