High courts in New York, Georgia rule gay marriage bans constitutional

The highest courts of New York and Georgia have each upheld their state's ban on gay "marriage-" in essence dismissing the absurdity that homosexuals have a constitutional right to have civilization's oldest institution re-invented in order to facilitate the acceptance of homosexual behavior by society.

Georgia is no surprise. But if this can happen in New York, maybe there's hope for saving the word "marriage-" and the institution itself- after all.

ADDENDUM: The misleadingly-named liberal blog The Moderate Voice is spinning the New York decision as sidestepping the issue. Uh-huh.

ADDENDUM II: Howard 'The Mouth' Dean, the Republican Party's favorite DNC chair, kinda blew that take out of the water- and demonstrated why the Democrats keep losing elections.

Hint, Howard: You don't call the position taken by most Americans "bigoted," and then expect them to vote for you.
