I'm a 70-year-old retired Lutheran pastor. history buff, and lifelong political junkie. My favorite presidents are Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, and Theodore Roosevelt.

I pride myself on being an independent thinker. I've worked on numerous campaigns for candidates from both parties. I've been a delegate to both the Democratic and Republican state conventions, and served on the County Central Committee of one of them.

I am strongly anti-Trump, but just as strongly pro-life and pro-religious liberty.
