There are worse things than being left without a political party. Abandoning one's honor and principles, for example. Or putting one's party ahead of one's country.
If you think that's bad just think, the Republicans party nominated somebody who couldn't even beat that guy. What was it thinking?
Mainly that it was a good thing we nominated the guy with the best shot, who got 48% rather than the, say, 10% and zero electoral votes Ron Paul would have gotten. And of course Romney- unlike Paul- is actually a Republican, as well as something other than a national security risk.
