Enough provisional ballots- some cast by individuals not, in fact, registered to vote- were cast in King County and mixed directly and inseperably into the other ballots to render the outcome of the Washington governor's race meaningless- and make it hard to see how the legitimacy of the election can be maintained.

Another election, Ukraine-style, is now imperative if this contest is to have any legitimacy whatever.
