October 1939 - Nazis Begin Euthanasia on Sick and Disabled

In the controversy over the euthanasia of Terri Schaivo, it's easy to forget that the whole idea of "mercy killing" to put an end to "life unworthy of life" has a history.

The difference is that the Nazis required three doctors to condemn a disabled person to be euthanized. We only require an abusive husband and a judge with a one-track mind.
