This is unbelievable: The New York Times wants the Bush Administration to apologize for seeking to make sure that everyone understands that the UN does not regard abortion as a human right.

The paper's objections are disingenuous, since the delegates from Canada, New Zealand, and Australia have said that they understand the UN statement in question to do precisely that.

Perhaps the Times thinks we should apologize to Hitler and Pol Pot posthumously.
