I don't know this publication, but despite its ideologically ominous name it has here said exactly what needs to be said about the smear tactics being used by the Far Left against Pope Benedict XVI.
By the way... the author is Uwe Siemon-Netto, the UPI Religion Editor- and a distinguished Lutheran journalist and author who is responsible for many significant works of late, including The Fabricated Luther, a response to the slander that Martin Luther was somehow a forerunner of the Nazis and at least partially responsible for the Holocaust because of anti-Semitic remarks he made as a crazy, sick old man during the last years of his life.
