Malnutrition in moms leads to schizophrenia

Schizophrenia- what people generally mean by "insanity-" has been known for some time to be an essentially physical medical problem with biological causes, rather than a disorder of psychogenic origin.

Now, evidence from Chinese children whose mothers were pregnant during times of famine reinforces evidence from starving Holland in late World War II in showing that the children of severely malnourished women are more likely than others to develop schizophrenia.
