Pat Robertson has apologized for his remark urging the United States government to "take out" Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
First, he blamed it all on the AP, saying that to "take someone out" could mean kidnapping or other alternatives to assassination.
But the thing is, Pat... "assassination" is what the term is generally a euphemism for, and if you're going to be a public figure, you have to watch how you phrase things.
