We interrupt this blog to bring you a bulletin from Hollywood!
By Babsadential decree, Barbara Streissand has declared a global warming emergency!
Of course, her facts are about as wrong as possible- which is about what one would expect of someone with absolutely no credentials in the field of meteorology, and a track record of looney Left positions about as extreme and unreasonable as even Hollywood could imagine.

It is your sheer ignorance and stupidity that makes you mock the bearer of this information, instead of heeding and studying the warnings. You must not turn off your powers of reason and become a "looney" right wing nut yourself, either.
Secondly, you appear not to be aware of the relatively short period of time in which this warming has been going on- much too short to see the changes to which you refer as anything more than a normal cycle. One of the advantages of being old enough to remember the 'Sixties is that I recall the same consensus of scientists warning us that massive global cooling was leading us inexorably into a new ice age. In fact, the consensus was far more decisive than
the "global warming" consensus, such as it is, is today; just about everybody accepted it as a given that civilization was going to freeze to death.
In short, the data you cite is convincing to alarmists and those with a political agenda. Many scientists regard it as junk science.
Finally, you would have done well to have read the article, which lists the Category 5 storms which have come and gone during Streissand's lifetime. Her suggestion that they are recent phenomena related to Bush administration's policies is precisely, as I observed, as wrong as possible.
You might heed your own advice. Rather than accepting the ideologicaly driven, politically correct statements of those on the Left without challenging them, become acquainted with the other side. As your mind opens, I think you'll find yourself moving toward the Center- and developing your capacity for critical analysis of people's arguments.
Ah, well. I suppose you couldn't help yourself. If you are willing to actually listen to the people you disagree with, I still think there's hope for you.
