Canada's Liberal government falls!

A corruption scandal has resulted in a vote of no-confidence for Prime Minister Paul Martin's Liberal Party in Canada, setting the stage for an election during the Christmas holidays which the Conservatives, led by Stephen Harper, are in an excellent position to win!

UPDATE: The election will be held on January 23.
