Military chaplains have been forbidden to pray in the Name of Jesus.

This cannot stand. And if it does, our chaplains need to resign their commissions- and our servicemen and women henceforth refuse the ministry of military chaplains.

I wonder what the Rev. Cmdr. John Wohlrabe- naval chaplain and fine LCMS theologian- has to say about this.

Very sad. I suppose they've also been forbidden to pray in less effective names like Allah, Great Spirit, etc.?

*silence*

Right.

Actually, they have. It's all a part of our national religion, the worship of the Great Hairy Muffin, icon of the Lowest Common Denominator.

I was going to write a book on the subject some day, but it appears that Mollie Ziegler has beaten me to it!
