Looks like Dubyah is on the right side of history

Any way you look at it, this is bad news for the partisan hate-mongers.

Even their anti-Bush rhetoric about Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004 failed to make much of an impression with Freedom House, which did note what it regarded as a "looming problem" with the fairness of electoral districts in the U.S. (like, this is a new problem- or a partisan failing?). Apparently the quadrennial gambits, respectively, of trying to steal an election and then accusing the other side of doing that very thing when you get caught and stopped, and trying to create doubt about a decisive result about which no reasonable grounds for doubt could possibly exist, are not enough to convict one's opponents of electoral naughtiness in the eyes of Freedom House.

All in all, the message seems a vindication of the so-called Neo-Conservative world view: freedom is on the march- despite the best efforts of the Howard Deans and the Cindy Sheehans of this world.
