Amazing disgrace

I've always known intellectually that non-Lutheran Protestantism is in rationalistic denial with regard to the clear and consistent teaching of the New Testament with regard to baptism.

But some of the comments here make me wonder how much such folks really read their Bibles at all.

Hi there, but the link generates a 404 error.

Is it possible you can elaborate a little more on this important topic - Baptism and other CHristians' misunderstandings ?

Thank you,

Well, it was four and a half years ago, so giving you the details of what the article said might be a little tough.

I assume the reference was to people who fail to understand that it is "of water and the Spirit" that Jesus says that we are born again, and that baptism is, in Paul's words, "the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost-" fundamentally God's act, not ours, and primarily God's adoption of us as His children for Christ's sake rather than merely our public announcement of our allegience to Christ.
