Chinese national confesses in missile plot

A Chinese national has confessed to attempting to arrange the sale of Chinese shoulder-fired ground-to-air missiles to a private citizen in the United States.

The missiles could have been used by terrorists to shoot down airliners or other domestic air traffic.

The "buyer," fortunately, turned out to be an FBI agent.
