The good news:

Four hits and three RBI's for Walker.
Five hits and two RBI's for Barrett.
Three hits, three runs, and an RBI for Pierre. We have a leadoff man!
The bullpen didn't blow it. And...
We actually drew seven walks! Can you hear the "Twilight Zone" theme in the background?!

The bad news:
We gave up ten walks.
We scored sixteen runs in last year's opener, too.
We scored fifteen runs in the opener the year before.
We staked Zambrano to a big lead- and he couldn't finish.
Prior and Wood won't be back until May.

But we shall persevere. After waiting for 98 years, what's one more month?
