Wonders never cease


For the seventh time in the last twenty attempts, the Cardinals have managed to beat the Cubs.

Alas, I'm afraid that with Derrek Lee out for two to three months with a broken wrist, many more such evenings loom.

This much for sure: the next two months will tell. Especially with Mark Prior and Kerry Wood due back next month (the news on Prior being better than that on Wood), if the North Siders can hang in there until Lee gets back, they'll be in business.

But without Lee, it will be a struggle.

I personally think you're being too hard on the Cardinals. See, they even won again today; they're only two games below .500 now in their last 21 games against the Cubs!

And thanks for the encouragement; though I tend more toward the theology of the cross and grace for my understanding of how God deals with us, it's good to have confidence that God will vindicate the righteous even in times of hardship! ;)
