What's this? At Cannes?

The showed The Da Vinci Code at the Cannes Festival.

They jeered and laughed at it!

Quoth one critic: "I kept thinking of the Energizer Bunny, because it kept going and going and going, and not in a good way."

Hmm, while your "jeered an laughed at it" quote is not wrong, it's not really the spirit of the Yahoo article is it? I think that's what fox news may call a "fair and balanced" post!

Well, yes. I'd say it's very much in the spirit of the article, and I think any unbiased person would agree. Kind of like most Fox News reporting, sure- objectionable mostly to people with an axe to grind in a direction it makes inconvenient.

The movie was, for the most part, panned, mocked, and- yes- laughed at. All in all, I'd say your comment is what most objective observers would call a typically insubstantial liberal whine!
