Ann Coulter and Michael Moore: no comparison
Humberto Fontova is right: the cliche to the contrary, Ann Coulter is indeed not the Michael Moore of the Right- and the difference is far more substantial than Ann's being much, much, much more pleasant to look at. It's the difference between Ann's substance and Moore's buffoonery. Both are acerbic, and tend to drive the opposition wild- Ann because her points hit a nerve, and Moore for much the same reason a mosquito or a swarm of gnats might be a nasty bother.
Ann reduces liberals to sputtering incoherence (well, even greater incoherence than usual). Moore, you kind of want to either spray, or swat.
Yes, Ann's rhetoric about the "Jersey Girls" was indeed a little over the top. But her point was valid: one's bereavement stops being something one can legitimately hide behind when one starts to use it to partisan political advantage.
Been a long, long time since that could be said about anything coming from Michael Moore!
