Julian Bond, American bigot

Is it really any wonder that Dubyah stayed away from the NAACP all that time?

And shouldn't the NAACP- if it really wants to present itself as an enemy of hatred and malice- have somebody less malicious and hate-filled than Julian Bond as its chairman?
