Medved on Mel

Michael Medved is married to the best childhood friend of a woman I seriously dated for several years. While we've never met, I've always admired him tremendously as a film critic, a social critic, and a generally insightful and sensible human being.

Michael Medved is also a Jew, and as such in a better position than most of us to comment on the sickening anti-Semitic outburst by Mel Gibson- and Gibson's subsequent apology.
