For UK Muslims, purity excludes Purell

UK Muslims are refusing to use hand sanitizer when visiting hospitals because it contains alcohol.

This is a public health situation, in which the right of Muslims to practice their religion would be in no way violated by simply refusing admission to visitors who won't either wash their hands with soap and water or use the sanitizing gel.
