It seems that the studied secularism of the West's most morally blighted society- Holland- is under challenge from a rebirth in popular interest in Christianity.

Admittedly, the renaissance seems to bear an unhealthy resemblance to our American Church Growth Movement. But perhaps in time, when the mere idea of being a Christian is no longer so novel, Holland's new Christians will pass beyond the need for milk and emotional cookies and begin to enjoy the strong meat of liturgy and sacrament.
