Lady Bird Johnson is dead

Claudia "Lady Bird" Johnson was a class act. She was a woman who did the nation proud as First Lady, and from all accounts was a faithful and supportive spouse to a controversial, larger-than-life president who can't, at times, have been all that easy to live with.

Lady Bird died today at 94.
