Send in the clowns

Hollywood extremist Sean Penn has paid a visit to loose cannon Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez so that the two self-parodies could exchange silly observations about the nefarious American "empire" and the comic antipathy they share for George W. Bush.

How either one could think that the other could advance his credibility, I have no idea.

I don't understand why anyone in their right mind would go to have a nice discussion with Hugo Chavez, agreeing with him and his radical views. I wish that Hollywood would stay out of politics.
