Thompson gets energized, and Huckabee continues to surge

Fred Thompson- long criticized for lacking "fire in his belly-" seems to have swallowed some habeneros. The newly-energized Thompson - now trailing even Ron Paul in New Hampshire, and in a battle for third in Iowa- has his work cut out for him.

Meanwhile, Mike Huckabee's Iowa surge- apparently due to huge strides among Iowa's influential "evangelicals-" continues to threaten Mitt Romney's once seemingly insurmountable lead here.
