McCain grabs huge national GOP lead in CNN poll; leads in RCP average

A new CNN poll taken after John McCain's victory in the New Hampshire Primary has him opening up a huge lead nationally in the race for the Republican nomination.

McCain has gained 21 points since the last CNN poll in December.The results:

McCain 34 (+21 vs. last poll Dec 6-9)
Huckabee 21 (-1)
Giuliani 18 (-6)
Romney 14 (-2)
Thompson 6 (-4)
Paul 5 (-1)

McCain now leads the RCP National Average by 3.0 over Mike Huckabee.
