Zell: Naming rights to Wrigley Field might be sold

CEO Sam Zell of the Chicago Tribune says that the Cubs and Wrigley Field might well be sold seperately- and that he won't hesitate to sell the naming rights to Wrigley Field.

If he does, nobody in the world will use the new name- and both the Trib and the new owners will be deluged with outrage the like of which they cannot imagine.

There are certain things that are simply unthinkable- and renaming Wrigley Field is one of them.

ADDENDUM: Rick Morrissey of the Trib agrees- and bids us fear not.
