In case you haven't been paying attention, my Cubs are now 15-6- tied with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the best record in baseball.

And last night's thrilling extra-innings victory over the Colorado Rockies was significant for another reason. This may be the centennial of the Bruins' last World Series championship. But last night, they became only the second major league team- the New York/San Francisco Giants being the other- to have won 10,000 games.

Not the Yankees. Not the Cardinals. Just the Giants- and the Cubs.
