Well, Drudge got the first syllable of Obama's choice right, anyway!

Joe Biden- the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee- lends at least some credibility to the ticket in the area of foreign policy.

Of course, he's also the guy who suggested during the Democratic campaign here in Iowa that Obama simply didn't have the resume to be president. I have a feeling that both of these gentlemen will be hearing about that quote quite a bit in coming months- and that as a result Sen. Obama will find himself trying to explain away one of his running-mate's inconvenient comments, as well as so many of those inconvenient comment and positions of his own he keeps himself so busy trying to rationalize away.

I'm personally hoping that John McCain picks either Gen. Petraeus or Colin Powell, either of whom would be a vice-president as far superior to Biden as McCain would be a president far superior to Obama.
