Lies and heartlessness mar these misbegotten Olympics

In view of the pre-Olympic crackdown on dissidents (including Christians and past Chinese Olympians) and the Chinese regime's all time gold medal performance in the mass murder event, the psychological scarring of a little girl may seem like small potatoes.

But Chicago Sun-Times sportswriter Jay Marriotti nails it when he points out the way it symbolizes the phoniness of this truly regrettable Olympics.
