Suddenly, the GOP has a real shot at winning back the Senate

All of a sudden, it looks like Republican prospects for retaking the Senate are very much alive.

Republicans have believable shots in such deep blue states as New York, California and Illinois. And Democratic pollster John Zogby flatly says that as of today, the GOP would come close to winning a majority in the Senate, and might actually pull it off.
