"America needs John McCain"

Great post on John McCain- what the media did to their long-time favorite when they went ga-ga over Obama and started smearing the "maverick" it had lionized for so long; why the conservatives who are anti-McCain need to get both a life and a clue; and the profound difference between the free spirit McCain was only a couple of years ago and the conservative stalwart of today.

Seldom has a public figure who deserved better of his country been treated with such shameful disrespect and malice by lesser men and women. And how much better off we all would have been had the result of the 2008 election been reversed!

Go away, J.D. Hayworth. May your primary defeat be decisive- and may America some day realize what a mistake it made in not making this man its president.
