NASA satellite data upends global warming hysteria
NASA satellite data from 2000 through 2011 reveal that Earth's atmosphere is releasing far more heat into space than alarmist computer models have assumed, throwing the most hysterical of the many global warming warnings being sounded around the world into a cocked hat.
The peer-reviewed journal Remote Sensing reported the findings in its most recent issue. The study's co-author, Dr. Roy Spencer, principal research scientist at the University of Alabama-Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA's Aqua satellite, said in a press release from the University of Alabama on July 26, "The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show... There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans."
The data from NASA's Terra satellite is consistent with other long-term NOAA and NASA observations, and should dramatically transform the global warming debate.
If the alarmists pay attention to it, that is.
