Nice of her

Michele Bachmann now says that she would be willing to let the debt limit be raised and default- which would mean utter disaster for the American economy- avoided.

But only if Obamacare is repealed.

Obamacare needs work. But so does Ms. Bachmann's contact with reality- and that of anyone who would seriously think of supporting her for president.

Nobody willing to let economic disaster overtake the nation in order to make an ideological point ought to be allowed to get anywhere near the White House, except maybe as part of a tour.
