The sheer dedication of Ron Paul's supporters- who have the best organization in the state- is going to make him tough to beat on Tuesday, and remains a significant variable. And he continues to lead in the polls. But the relatively small amount of attention Ron Paul's front-runner status has drawn to his foreign policy and his other baggage
momentum seems to be with Mitt Romney, and Iowans may yet avoid humiliating themselves in front of the world.
It's worth remembering, too, that four years ago it was Romney who had the best organization in the state. But Mike Huckabee didn't get the memo.
Tuesday is a long way away, but at this point the weather is looking good- another good sign for Mitt.
