Meanwhile, as we get ready for Nevada...

...here's a Jon Huntsman ad from New Hampshire I really wish had run here in Iowa:

Hey! Just so you know, the "Ron Paul stormed out of a CNN interview" thing was debunked when CNN released the whole video and not just a cleverly edited version. He spent like three minutes out of an eight minute interview answering newsletter questions before the interview came to a close. He answered all of her many questions on the newsletter!
Never underestimate Paulista paranoia.

This is not a plot against Ron Paul. This is Ron Paul refusing to be accountable. Dude, he responded to her questions- and by no means all of them (watch the video again). He hardly answered them. And yeah, he stormed out of the interview in a huff rather than answer any more of them.

Jeff, reality is not a plot against Ron Paul.

What do you mean by "be accountable"? What would that look like, and how is Ron Paul refusing to do it?
At the very least, it would look like Paul repudiating the support of the folks who believe the stuff he allowed to be published in his newsletter as well as their positions. And given the outrageous offense to minorities and to people of common sense generally, it would probably mean his recognizing that not only did his irresponsibility prove that he is incapable of handling the responsibilities of the presidency, but that his very candidacy is an insult to African-Americans and others.

It would also involve admitting that he defended several of those racist quotations when initially challenged about them, and being honest enough to act a little less horrified about at least those posts now. His defense of those posts is, after all, a matter of public record.
