'Democrats for Romney' is just the ticket for Romney-Ryan

All over the nation, disappointed, disaffected and just plain disgusted Democrats are looking for an excuse to vote for Mitt Romney.

Probably all they need is to know that other disappointed, disaffected and just plain disgusted Democrats plan to do the same thing.

Andthey are.

Artur Davis, who seconded Barack Obama's nomination at the Democratic convention four years ago, has changed parties, and will be addressing the Republican convention this time.

West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tombin hasn't endorsed Romney. Yet. But he has annoucned that he does not endorse the President's re-election.

Look for the list to grow as time goes on. And remember: at this point in 1980, Jimmy Carter was nine points ahead of Ronald Reagan in the polls. And Ronald Reagan- as I can testify from personal experience, having supported Carter to the bitter end against a Republican nominee I was sure was an over-the-top right wing fanatic who was going to blow us all up- was a much, much harder sell for Democrats than Mitt Romney is going to be.
