Gallup confirms: Obama convention bounce is gone

Several polls of late have shown President Obama coming out of the Democratic convention with a three to seven point lead over Gov. Romney.

But now Gallup shows the same thing Rasmussen has been showing ever since the convention ended: a dead heat. The latest Gallup figures are Obama 47, Romney 46.

The media have been crowing about Obama's lead and how hard it will be for Romney to catch up. My guess, though, is that the figures will remain about the same until the debates- where Romney will do a great deal better than the liberal media have been predicting.
