"Unfurl the flag/March rank on rank together..."

The Rahm Emmanuel award for intolerance in the name of tolerance, utter contempt for the First Amendment, and general "liberal" fascism goes to those responsible for threatening and intimidating a family-owned bakery which refused, on religious grounds, to bake a "wedding" cake for a lesbian couple, and ultimately forcing it to close.

Of course gays and lesbians have a right to boycott a business they disapprove of. But terroristic threats in this case are no more appropriate than Mayor Emmanuel's abuse of the city's licensing power to intimidate Chik-fil-A into ceasing its support of anti-gay "marriage' groups was. Both tactics expose the hard, totalitarian edge to so many who characterize themselves as "progressive."
