Former deputy border chief: Obama administration has undone post-9/11 progress on southern border
Former U.S. Border Patrol Deputy Chief Ronald Colburn says that all the progress that was made in securing out southern border after 9/11 has been reversed by the Obama administration.
“We’re back to a pre-9/11 situation basically, and this administration did that in the past five years,” Colburn says. “All of the good that was done after 9/11 up to now has been reversed singlehandedly.”
Meanwhile, a new Gallup poll shows that Americans believe that illegal immigration is the number one problem facing America, even including the economy.
And a new Rasmussen poll shows that 59% of Americans think that immigration reform should focus on sending the young new arrivals home as soon as possible.
