Alderman Bob Fioretti, who is running against  Mayor Rahm Emanuel, has released a poll purportedly showing that the mayor is less popular than rush hour traffic.

Meanwhile, Chicago Teachers' Union president Karen Lewis, the mayor's most formidable potential opponent, has been hospitalized with dizziness and "discomfort."

Ms. Lewis's illness is not believed to be serious.
