There are words that are just plain rude, and I don't defend those who use them.
On the other hand, this kind of nonsense is not the way to handle such folks.
You can't teach good manners by intimidation. All you can teach that way is conformity. It's an effective way to produce obedient sheep, but not good neighbors and citizens.
