Federal government hires imam who advocates death for apostates to teach Islam in prison

An imam who supports the death penalty for people who leave Islam has been hired by the Federal government as a prison chaplain.

Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi has specifically called for the death of Somalian women's rights activist Ayan Hirsi Ali. His job will be to teach Islam to inmates.
