The problem with getting married today

Dennis Prager- the sanest of men- makes several very good points about why "I'm not ready to get married" isn't a good reason to stay single.

Here's one point I would offer in reluctant rebuttal, though. If I were a young person today, given the sexual ethics of most contemporary American women I would be real uncertain about whether one of them would be faithful to me if I married her.

I'd say the same thing about contemporary American men, but I'm afraid that contemporary American women are already so comfortable with being taken advantage of sexually by men that it would make all that it would merely be a variation on a theme.

I know that's harsh, but it's the truth.
